Dry Creek Bridge Crossing

The project consists of the construction of a new 500 foot aerial pipe bridge over Dry Creek.  Key components of this project include clearing and grubbing; excavation and back-filling for cast-in-place concrete footings; minor grading; steel structure construction; installation of cable suspension lines to support the pipe; above and below grade pipe construction; and related appurtenances.

A portion of the new bridge is to be constructed within an existing mitigation site that is monitored and maintained by another company.  Careful coordination is required to clear plantings from the project area to construct one of the towers and the anchor blocks, while limiting the potential damage to the remaining mitigation plantings within the work area.  The project specifications also detailed that there may be sensitive animal species within the project area.  We have retained the services of a biologist consultant to be available throughout duration of the project to perform surveys for special-status species.
