Project involves installing a new pedestrian bridge over the BNSF railroad tracks in the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge for the US Fish and Wildlife Service. Work involves constructing drilled shafts; cast-in-place columns, pier caps, and abutments; fabrication and installation of steel pedestrian bridge; cast-in-place concrete deck; pedestrian railings and fencing; new walkways and ADA accommodations; parking lot improvements; and the removal of the old pedestrian bridge. Coordination will be made throughout the project with FWS and BNSF railway because work performed is over BNSF right-of-way.
